Manchester To Lagos

About This Project

We recently moved a large project from Manchester to Lagos, Nigeria.

The shipment was 18 large wooden crates of Oilwell Equipment from the manufacturers site in Manchester that needed to be transported to Lagos Port in Nigeria. One of our Projects Team visited the load site to inspect the cargo and the requirements needed to move the cargo. After reviewing the site, the loading facilities and the access points etc a shipping plan was put into action.

The cargo was loaded to 9 x 40′ Flat Rack Containers using the load sites overhead cranes and heavyweight trailers. Our won team was on hand to lash and secure the cases to the Flat Rack Containers to ensure there would be no issues once the cargo reached the port of exit. Over the course of 4 days all cargo was successfully loaded to the Flar Rack Containers and transported to the port for loading.

AGF Shipping Ltd also deal with the issuing of the Soncap Inspection (at time of loading), the issue of the Socap Certificate, the customs entry and all the other paperwork needed for a succesfull movement to Nigeria.
